Hello, fellow nonsiters,

I am collecting signatures to get a measure put on the ballot that would require that 50% of new housing built on Candlestick Point be affordable to San Franciscans making 30%, 60%, & 80% median income, and require that Alice Griffith public housing be rebuilt with NO displacement.

This initiative goes up against another one by Lennar, the Florida-based developer for the redevelopment in Bayview Hunters Point.

We need 8500 signatures by Friday Feb. 1st. If you'd like to sign, I will be at Rainbow Grocery tonight from 7-9, or you can swing by my apartment this week in the evenings after 9:00. Sorry for the late hours--weird work schedule.
